big puddle

hi

about 20 min ago drove my freelander through a big puddle, now it has a lack of power creamy oil in the oil cap and its blowing badly through the oil filler hole

i'm hoping my head gasket has gone and that i haven't warpped the blocks or cracked them.

any ideas if this is what's happened and any guess at a price

sounds like head gasket but could be as bad as fooked conrods & pistons cause you've sucked water into the engine?? As to price that really depends on A: what you've actually done to it & B: which garage you take it to. Did you stop to collect the doors once you'd got out of the puddle??

deffo water in the oil.

Are you loosing coolant?

no lose of coolant and its running fine apart from the blowing
