big hello from hampshire :)

Hi guys, thought I'd sign up. And take the plunge!!! I'm all new to this. So I may ask some silly questions. At first until I work my way around!!
Anyways my names tom I'm all new to landys and I'm looking to be getting a disco or even better a defender if one comes up for right price. I'm looking for a 300tdi either way. I live in hampshire but I'm regularly in west sussex as that's where my mrs lives. I do lots. Of shooting hense the need for a 4x4 . Also will be interested in green laning and meets pay and play days etc!!!! Hope I fit in well.

I'd prefere a defender tbh but I'm thinkin of the price! As its just a shooting truck really

Morning slinky how's the cake making getting on ?

I'm looking to spend 3k max on buying one! Prepared for abit of a project as otherwise ill get bored. And for that money I could only get a 200tdi defender!! Hense why I'm going for the 300 in the disco! I don't drive much anyways probably 150 miles a week if that. This is just a farm wagon. Seems to be a lot out there disco wise but a lot of sheds!!

3k might get you a 300 defender but it will need a lot of work to bring it up to spec 200 most definatly pron a g/h or j plate defender
Disco r/s/t or even an early td5 just check the chassis for rot

If you keen veg then no not a good idea still not a top idea on a 200/300 IMO

I know loads of people that run veg on them even straight in the summer months and there engines are all lovely and quite and pull hard

It's up to you what you run in it but for me a net injector pump @ over £800 is the reason for me not to
