Hi all was thinking about converting my standard lights on my f/l 1 to a full hid system. Is this possible? If so what's the cost? Thanks

The FL1 was never designed to have HID's and if you install aftermarket ones they will be causing lots of glare for other road users and yourll just get flashed all the time and you wont be able to see, negating the whole point of installing them.

however if you really really want them they can be had for about £30

Thanks for the advice, BT if that's the case I think I will give it a miss coz I would have preferred to have the clear case for the lights as well but from what I have found none were ever made for the f/l 1

its really easy to do, but can be a bit expensive to get all the bits

Personally I think it looks much better, and i thought the lights were better. But then it isnt an original freelander and some people might devalue the vehicle because of it. Horses for courses.
