Best trolley jack

Gotta 3 ton Sealey, works well.

i can report back.... in a hasty moment of opening my wallet i ended up with the Halfords 3 ton. so far its been perfect changed all wheels on landy, lifted 80s volvo estate for wheel change.. appears well built. probabaly would have gone with the Machine mart one but i was right next to Halfords and the Machine mart is a good 1.5hr drive from us..

Another vote for SGS. I have the low entry version of the 3ton as I also use it on lowered cars. Still lifts the disco on 33's no problem.

Got the 12 tons (6 ton each), also from SGS.

Can't fault them.

I'm considering buying a 3 tonne trolley jack but am wondering if a 2.5 would suffice? It's for use on a 110.

I'm an SGS fan too. I got their 20 ton press in October 2013 and it makes doing bushes and propshaft bearings an absolute pleasure. I might get one of their transmission jacks next time I need to do a clutch.

Bluehaze - get a 3 ton. You know you want to. The bigger the capacity the easier your life will be.

Lets not get too carried away with jacks. remember jacks are for lifting, no matter how good (you think) your jack is always use proper supports before going under your Landy.
