i usually wrap mine in an engine sept i only have a slitty so that dunt count !

i use WD40 on my boat outboard, i hose the engine down with the cover off every time i use it, then cover it in WD40 especially the spark plugs. If the boat gets flipped, its new spark plugs. Not sure of any way to fully protect them. Its only a 5 min job on a boat to change them though!!

Motorbikes usually have waterproof HT Caps as well, and you can get quite long one with an angled neck on them which are great for landies. or you could get something like this one for instance. Independent Ignition Supplies goto accessories and sundries in the menu.
