I would like to have my 2004 TD5 professionally rust proofed. Does anybody know of anyone near Oxford that is good ? Or have experience of really good person/company further afield? Any experience or advice would be appreciated.

This has been discussed recently, and there are lots of other threads through the ages. The conclusion of most of the threads is that whoever you take it to you pay a loot of money for an job of average quality and you would be better off buying the kit and doing it yourself. This will work out far cheaper (even buying a compressor) and give a far higher standard of finished product.

Whatever route you chose, because it is essential the the surfaces including those inside the chassis are completely dry before application, unless you or the company have access to a warm air drying facility, you might want to wait until next spring.
I'm in the same position as you and am considering the Dinotrol process by Flatdog. I've not seen any views on them either way, but at least I would get an excuse to look at their expedition racks and the Howling Moon roof tent.

I had someone in Radnage recommended by Dingocroft. Can't immediately find the details but a call to them should pay off.
I'm still hoping to find the time to get mine done.

Hi expect your landy to be there for a week or two in the weather we’re getting, as said it will need to be bone dry inside and out
