Would logic suggest that the best place for a roof box (yes i know on the roof) would be just behind the point at which the front sloping roof panel/section starts? Got a 110 with a full length roof rack.

Also was going to fit an ali checker plate panel up there to stand on and to tie down other stuff on.

I know trying to make a house brick as aero dymanic as possible in its self doesnt make much sence but no point making it worse!

Any thoughts on advantages/disadvantages to this?

It all depends on the design of the box, and how well it fits onto your roof!

Are you mounting it on your roof rack or taking the rack off and fastening direct?

TBH it'd probably improve the aerodynamics if you strapped it vertically and hung a parachute off the top so I don"t think where it's mounted will make much difference.

I'd be more considering where the weight will be but then you'd probably only really notice if you filled it full of lead.

Probably best to put it where it's least visable to avoid embarassment :p

Fair point, I'll chuck the camo net over it, then the bikes and lastly the kids.

At least i wont hear the wind noise over the screaming!

Was hoping it would act like a wing and provide some lift, save some rubber!
