Best place to advertise your landy?

What's the best place to advertise your landy for sale nowadays - I'm not having any luck with ebay, so thinking I need to try something else... probably where people know what they are looking at!

I was thinking of the landy forums / sites rather than the general car sales sites - it's been on here for ages!

If you have been trying for ages, that suggests the price is wrong. As above, no reserve and it will go in no time.

firstly ask yourself just why ?
is it a pile of ****e?
is it first class but way over priced ?
or do you not "sell it" correctly - explain it better or fail to mention either good bits of rough bits.

A good description to detail every good selling point helps

as above, a 99p start reels the punters in...

"sold" it 3 times on ebay, twice without any contact from the winning bidder - reckon the problem is people fancying a series and sticking a bid on without thinking about it, then just ignoring the fact they've won it

that's why I'm thinking of the landy forums - more chance of someone knowing what it is and actually wanting it I reckon

problem with no reserve and low start on ebay is you could end up letting it go for next to nowt - so I'd only do that if it had to go regardless - and this is a somewhat reluctant sale!

I can tell as I just read your ad and its pretty poor

3 photos and in 2 its covered in snow, no inside photos, none of the engine bay or underneath, close ups of areas where they rust and very little detail in the ad in total really

People like loads of photos so they dont turn up and find a complete shed plus lots of detail, how long you had it, service history whilst in your ownership, good points, bad points, things its had since you have owned it etc etc.

that's cos it was originally just a link to the ebay ad - where all the detail and pics were!
on about page 4 I put a link to all the pics and info etc, but prob no-one will get that far now

I'll have a look at the other forums while I think about the next step....
