Hi guys,

I'm keen to keep hold of my wheels on my 90. Can anyone recommend a good set of locking wheel nuts, designed for steel wheels?
Ideally ones that don't look massively different to regular wheel nuts. And that are considered to be quite secure..

Thanks guys!

no locking nuts are secure, not now that release kits are avaliable cheaply from ebay etc.

all the ones I can see for steel wheels look the same to me, but vary in price from £35 to £85 they all also have a sleeve that pops on so they look like normal nuts.

They're a liability in my opinion. I've had expensive locking nuts break or the tool used to remove them break then you have to mess around trying to get the nuts off. If someone wants to steal your wheels then the locking wheels nuts aren't really going to stop them (as already stated about the cheap kits to remove above)

As a mobile tyre fitter I carry a few different removal kits for when people lose the locking key. The only advice I would give is the hardest ones to remove have a separate outer ring that moves freely. This means that basic removal kits struggle as this ring just spins and does nothing.

Hope this helps.
