interested in what is best by anyones experience....I know some people dont like additives............he he

anyway

my opinion-

redex - only works whilst its in the tank/no long term fix

stp - heard good results with this

wynn's - heard possibly better than redex......
change the fuel filter [or at least drain it]- remove and clean the sediment trap- long motorway drive.

snake oil just doesn't work.

ive previously used wynns, forte and redex, i found them all to be good to be honest

p.s never had a land rover so never used it in a land rover

You must really feel good about it mate! lol

I found redex in B&M home stores for I think £2.99 in case anyone's interested.

I use additives every now and again and I feel they make a difference, I'm not blind to the fact it could be a placebo but for a few quid every now and again I'll carry on using them.

Everyone says the same about oil additives but I use them too. I shoot and tune air rifles as one of my hobbies and there has been a lot of research and experimentation gone into finding the perfect lubes to be used in spring powered air rifles and one of the very best concoctions to date is a mixture of part molybdenum powder and part STP oil additive. I know the moly plays a big part in its effectiveness but there must be a reason why it performs so well when mixed with the STP.
