Best Accessory

Hi all, been thinking of all the easy ways to spend my hard earned, what has been peoples best (or worst) accessory that you've bought?

I keep thinking of splashing out on a soft top, but seeing as I live in Yorkshire and generally holiday in the Lakes I can't see it being used over often!

Hawkeye, it's saved me much money and grief

The roof bars I bought from yourself haha. Actually what's been really good was tinting my rear windows.

i got a soft roof for mine last weekend and its noticeably improved the freebies handling, weighs alot less than the hard roof which has lowered the c of g. also i can pick up strange men on the street without even trying! :scratching_chin:

best accesory though...

Lift kit, followed by the 30mm spacers and a remap.

Actually, 5 tyres all the same.....

Best accessory purchase for me was the pre facelift cup holders that replace the centre mat on the dash

Err idont think I can pinpoint one thing. I love all my accessories.....
Tinted windows was good. Shower cover better. Side bars love em. Jeep wheels ace. Towbar a god send. Light guards spot on. Bonnet deflector is really unusual. Better stereo speakers and sub I can't rate enough. Roof light bar.

The accessory that gave the biggest improvement ?
Without a shadow of doubt has to be the Synergy 2.Without it both my Td4's are slugs.

Try a remap with the Synergy...... Makes the Synergy on its own feel like a slug

I love my accessorys because they make my car mine, although the shower cover will soon be on eBay.
I wouldn't mind some wind deflectors because I always have my windows open. Looking forward to putting my lift kit on but I think standard height with 30mm spacers looks the nuts

Just removing the standard intake pipes and replacing them with larger bore pipes and silicone hoses meant that the massive intercooler could finally do the job it was bought for. The Synergy transformed the way my Freelander drove, but coupled with a massive intercooler now doing it's job, the difference is staggering.Mpg has also improved too.

I love all my accessories like roof rack (home made) with the 4 spots a frame for the front with KC's on and semi a frame for the back, side steps , back tow bar with step, wind deflectors, bonnet deflector with the words land rover on it , antenna mount , new Michelin syncrones all round ham radio installed not much difference on the inside as it is the HSE model with all mod cons, and a "safety" camera front and back with stickers saying so. o and a speed camera detector. that's it! o just remembered light guards front and back.

My hawkeye has paid back it's purchase price several times over.

must get one of those hawkeye's then I do not know what else to buy.

Main unit is the hawkeye. Hawkeye Part Number: BA 5070 (Includes, Hawkeye Diagnostic Tool, J1962 Cable (BA 5071), zipped protective pouch, quick reference guide, one vehicle unlock code.)

You also need adapter BA 5077 to talk to the later MK25 ABS computer (2002 to 2006 models) and security computer EWS 3D (2000 to 2002 models), if you have them.

NOTE: we're talking about the hawkeye, not the more expensive hawkeye pro.

I have jeep 15" steelies, I am happy to use steels as they are nut centric (same as modulars) but I wouldn't use the alloys with out spigot ring adapters as alloys are hub centric.

The jeep has a 5x4.5inch pcd and a 73mm (I think) centre bore, hippo has 5x114.3mm pcd and a 68mm centre bore.

Cool cheers 15s could well be the way to go then they are a much nicer shape steel rim

As for mods I have silicone hoses egr removal BMW cyclone thing lol

There all good but the arm rest type console is my fav my l series came without one and I fitted one the td4 come with it if u dnt have one ud say that but I would I have a spare u could buy if u dnt have one and I'm based near you lol
