I am thinking of changing the serpentine belt on the p38 dhse. Is it a nightmare? or something that can be done with having to dismantle half the car?
BTW is there any other belts that need changing at the 106k mark?

I did mine, only took 15 mins, just unclip the top fan cover, turn the tensioner clockwise (15mm bolt if i remember rightly), then take the belt off, and put it all on, leave the tensioner til last, clip cover back on and your ready to roll, Sam

Did u only change the main belt? I just read u may have to change the aircon belt at the same time too?
You don't have the part number do you?

I dont have the part number sorry, the ac was on the same belt on my 4.6, dont know if the 2.5d is the same, Sam
