P38A Belt tensioner

hi does anybody know how I remove the belt tensioner bracket from my 2.5 dse as when my daughter started it this morning she hard any almighty clang turned engine off straight away and came and got me , on inspection the bracket that holds the pulleys has sheared off and broken the fan as well but I don,t seem to be able to find how to replace the bracket in rave I have removed the bolt that attaches the hydraulic plunger which is the only bolt left still attached bracket now swings loose but won't come off any help is appreciated as I have to try and explain it to my son because I have had my shoulder replaced the other day so I can't do it myself thanks

On the end of the tensioner shaft is a allen key hole,.That screws off the end ,then slip whats left of the tensioner off

as above but then you have problems getting the serpentine belt untangled also remove the bolt that holds the pulley on to get the belt out

You need a 17 mm Allen key socket to remove the cap on the end of the pivot shaft.
