bell sound ??

i have disco 95 300 tdi help please clanging sound from the prop shaft front 1 i think any way could this b a problem with uv joints any help pleezzzy

my mate has just had this problem and i managed to track it down to the metal dust cover behind the propshaft flange on the rear diff, it had come loose and was ringing just like a bell !
it only did it when accelerating and at certain speeds but thats what the problem was
