Beginner lanes Yorkshire area?

As above really, got my 1st disco but it's my everyday car and bit of fun which means I have to be sensible in it! I'm looking for somewhere in the skipton/Bradford/ilkley/otley/Huddersfield region to take it out and see what it's like off road. I live near to 'the flappit' which is now shut but somewhere like that would be ideal. I know parkwood 4x4 is nearby but wanted something a little tamer to start with, maybe the road from keighley gate over towards cow and calf at ilkley? Anyhelp is gratefully recieved, thank you

i have an un-mod disco 1 for work and play... i went to parkwood for 1st time in nov.. had great fun, met great peeps too..
ya just need some decent tyres.. theres lots of routes to choose from, most of them fine. just avoid black routes.. if ya wanna come in feb there should be a few of us from here having a bash..
only damage ive done is to my side steps.. bit bent, but rather them than the body work.. i could staighten em but cant be arsed..
if ya find any laneing to do i'd be interested.. there are some over holmfield way and they show up one here sometimes when they having a trip out.. they dont seem to mind people taggin along.. as long as you ask 1st..
