before you all go to the pub!!!

hi guys,

need to know if there are any valves that stop the flow of coolant around the heater matrix of the p38 1996 4.0 se v8.

need to be specific here as i am going to re- plumb the bloody thing and the gas valve.

basically i want to put the gas valve in-line as apposed to t'd off the heater circuit.

anyone got any good reasons why this is a bad idea.

i'm gonna do it in the morning cos its also leaking and i need to renew some the pipes.

been as yr all at the pub then!!! ive consulted rave and it says the water will flow through the heater matrix when engine is running!!

i take this to mean that there is no restriction to the water flow!!!
