Beeping when I get in!

Hello everyone,

Everytime I get into my 04 Freelander after I deactivate the alarm using the key fob the car beeps at me and a small red light flashes on the dashboard. I haven't left it to see what happens as I always press the key fob again to stop it.

Is it something simple like replacing the battery in the key fob?

I appreciate any help!

I thought it was to tell you the doors were damp and about to fall off. Or is it the IRD unit about to be fubar, warning..
