BECM Awake stupid question

Yes I know about the search facility but I cant find this answer.

When the BECM is awake when the car is locked, how bright is the Park LED on the auto box, mine is a faint glow rather than an obvious light.

When the BeCM is asleep the light will be off completely.

if its a faint glow,then it is awake. disconect your rf reciver airel and it should sleep when it is suposed to. onley troubel is that your remote will only work next to the drivers side rear window. or just go and buy the uprated rf reciver,about 150 squid from land rovers i think.tom.

i often wondered why that light had a faint glow,i did notice if i pressed the mode switch into sport the light went out completley,so i take it is down to the rf receiver for the key remote,i thought the receiver problems were sorted out on the 2000 models onwards
