Hello there. Not sure if this will help but one of the guys on here found me a link to the manual when I was having issues with my becker. The car didn't come with the right one.

Ah, it's the Nicky Clarke curling tongs. They interfere with the radio. 
Best thing is to make sure all hairdressing products are unplugged, then start again.
