Hi there

Have recently acquired my freelander 1 56 reg but it only came with the standard radio manual, nothing relating to the unit actually fitted.

Have seen the thread about getting a new radio code so that's half the problem sorted.

The only thing now is to find a copy of the useful manual. Anyone have any ideas where I can get hold of a copy?

Have tried advanced search on here and google, but all that turns up is a list of faults or much newer radios than mine.

landrover should be able to supply you with one have you the one with the single cd player in the dash and a multi player under drivers seat.?

The sat nav is truly awful. I changed mine for a more modern head unit with Bluetooth & DAB radio.

I think that will be the plan long term. Just want the radio code and to be able to change presets for now.
Need to disconnect the battery and sort the back window opening first, hence the radio code bit.

Did you manage to keep the multi changer working? Seems a bit hit and miss from some of the threads on here. Thanks.

No need in my case. All my music is in iTunes so already in iPhone/iPod. It can Bluetooth audio play and has YSB front and rear along with an aux socket on the front.

The hardest part it to keep the remote controls working. Need a fairly scarce lead which only incartec supply.

I've got one of them there manuals. If you let me know what bits you need I could scan the relevant pages and email them to you. Can't do anything until Monday though if you do want any mailing over.
