yes it does exist, coz mine has some issue:doh: well that's what my mechanic said.

anyways, can anyone tell me where can i find this part in car? and is there any proper diagram about whats sits where?

my car is 1.8L 5 door 1998 freelander1.

Its called a CCU in a Freelander 1. Stands for central control unit.Does not control as many things as say the BECM in a P38. It is on the back of the passenger compartment fuse box.
 
holly crap it's costing me 2K New Zealand Dollar + GST and labour... why is this car so expensive to fix when this car was built with issues and is not in production any more.:confused: Internationally Disappointed.

Car manual says nothing about these parts, thanks eightinavee i'll have a look behind compartment box.

this seems to be not helping, do you guys know what this could be, Tailgate lock, widnow and wiper are non responsive to Key or Fob, what control these parts (also my locking button on Dashboard also non responsive) could this be BCM or something else :confused:

Sounds more like a wiring fault to me download Rave manual
