Battery Power!!

Hello again, my new (1997) disco (2.5 TDi) is a bit weak at starting i serviced it new glow plugs etc but it is defenetly the battery it looks like an old one from Makro thats in it. Can anyone tell me the best battery for price to replace it with, i dont want to have to jump it comng into winter. Thanks Gary.

hi ring round your local auto factors and tyre centers in your area, i got a standars one for £55 inc 3yr warranty. would recomend a heavy duty one if you can afford to strech to it. most auto factorsand tyre centers will load test your old one before you get a new one if you ask them as well

I just bought one from a local tyre shop for 60 notes (580CCA), was quoted 95 notes at a national tyre fitters!! so shop around. If chrimbo wasn't around the corner I would have bought a heavy duty one as Disco Dude suggested. I believe the minimum CCA rated battery you'll need is 570 CCA
