Went through a shallow Ford (more like a large puddle) on the way to work and the battery light flickered. Same thing happened on way home, this time with a loud screechy sound. I know how to stop the screech but am I right in thinking the battery light went on when a belt was wet? Would tightening said belt eliminate the battery light?
Need to fix it before I drown it at Silverdale next week.
