right, been having a think, not sure if what im thinking will work.
I have a battery isolator, fair enough, if its off, nothing will work (obviously)
Im wanting to put a bypass fuse in so the radio, clock etc stay set, and I can use my aux socket in the back without having to switch it on.
If i do this, garuntee I will try to start it more than once and pop the fuse.
Just wondering, if I stick an LED accross the switch, when its off, would there be enough current not going through the fuse to light it?? (fuse is going direct from battery to body, 10A fuse) then when the switch is closed, there would be a "less resistive" route and the led extinguish.
I know it would work without the bypass fuse, but i dont need it without the bypass.
its getting irritating having the clock wrong all the time, and having to reset my stereo every time.
