Battery charging through tow electrics

On mine the ciggie lighters are dead when the ignition is off, I rewired the one in the boot to be permanantly live

ive got a lesure battery in the spare wheel well wired direct to the engine bay battery except for a heavy duty switch to turn it on and off
had to do that cos im i sod for leaving lights on!! did it 3 times in 1 week once:doh:
