I would have thought OP was a perfect candidate for a solar panel to keep the battery topped up.

No i have to confess I don't click on every link, but then at least there are three of us now saying Ring is the Thing!!!
Couldn't agree more, the thing with the Ring is it can clout out @ 12A or you can set it to max @ 2, 4 or 8 and the repair/pulse and trickle charge functions work really well.
It charges the 110Ah battery in the landy quickly as well as topping up the leisure batts I use for my clay traps.
It can also be used to check the Alternators output.
