Well,
I may try one day and clean it up.
See what's happen under the dirt. Lol.
The wheel on the alternator is spinning nice without hesitation or noise, but could be al this oil.
And not sure what's wrong inside.
( but the plastic on the rear ( Cable attachment ) has a crack)
The fib isn't leaking, but the rocker cover was, at the front. Since I bought it, juts not enough to have a puddle under the car until couple weeks back when I replaced it.
Saying this, the alternator looked like this from day 1 since I got the car .
Making the first test drive today.
( alcohol over x mas prevented from doing so. Lol )
And I agree to repair before buying and spending over the odd, ( I rather spend the pension in fuel as parts) but then, I am also not very good in dismantle and put it back together, unless I do it there and then
( remember what I have done. Lol )
And sometimes is the understanding on how it works, which may not the problem in theory and logic but in practice and the confidence doing it right, to have it working without making more damage.
( btw. replacement Batterie in and fully charged )

The alternator should spin freely.
