The one who decided that the brake pipe bracket on the disco front axle
should not only be secured by *both* top swivel bearing bolts (meaning that
the top swivel bearing has to be loosened completely to remove the bracket),
but in addition made it so that the brake pipe runs across the top of one of
the bolts, precluding access to any sort of ratchet or power tool.

They've been at it so long that they'd probably forgotten just how bad a
design it was. This helpful feature first appeared on the first RRCs.

To be fair it must have taken some thought and very nearly interupted a
coffee break though.

I like to think I fit stuff such that it can be easily removed... then had a
flash back to the Jag lump and the plasma cutter meets front Crossmember
event....h'mmm , do you think I could get a job with Landrover?
