Barn find keep original or modify??

Any pics of your mate ? I am not against original, just don't mind the odd mods - not all

I would always suggest keeping it reasonably original... I've got an old '72 109 which I wish hadn't had the 6 cyl swapped out for a v8 (done before I got it)

You got any pics of it? I've created a profile for mine with some pics up on amabam com - quite cool actually. Would you be abl;e to pull the roll cage off it easily or does it go through the body?

Looks awesome - bit of touch up round the arches and it'll be as good as new!

Fantastic pal -- looks amazing

Thanks chaps. First job is gearboxes. I've got a suffix D box that I'd rebuilt for the last one before it got written off, and I've just got a complete box/transfer box and at a sensible price from eBay, so fettle up the latter and transplant them for now. Then probably do the same to the two I've taken out and put them back in to keep the numbers right. Carb overhaul too, got an air leak somewhere on it at the mo. Small patch on the bulkhead to weld in and then splash some paint about. Not rushing any of it though because the 110 project lives in a new workshop and I can get on with that.

Sounds awesome! Get a profile up on amabam so we can all see it taking shape! Great to see new projects getting underway - must get back to some of mine that are sitting on the back burner!
