Banging when driving

Hi all after a few really crap weeks starting with my wheel bareing going. Then my back poping out while trying to fixs it lol. Then I though I need a new alternator waited a few days for my mate to bring one done just to find I had a loose wire on back of the one already on the landy.

I went for a drive to find a banging noise when I get between 30-50 mpg
My engine is running very nicely plenty of power for a 200tdi
Has anyone got any idea

propshaft,exhaust banging on bodywork???

Prop shaft or hand brake drum

I'm going to pop it up on the ramps in the afternoon body work & exhaust look ok

It's going to be the prop shaft I can feel it lol
Only thing is its not banging when I pull away just at speed 30-50mpg

When I saw the title I was going to say that is very irresponsible and dangerous and whilst being fun should be discouraged!

But then I read the text and would agree with some comments, it sounds like UJ on prop.

I'm a man mate can't multitask lol so your right banging while driving does become a little dangerous ;-)

I think it will be the prop shaft.

Had a good few hours under bonnet. A few things been retightened so that rule them out & had a 5 min drive with out bonnet on banging noise not there

But in morning up on the ramps with the grease gun while its on my mind lol

Lol I just noticed that lol Mpg I wish only on a tow truck will i get that kinder mpg lol

I just thought I would give a quick update. Still not had time to gease prop but the work we did under the bonnet seems to have stopped the noise

I think it was the air box came loss
