bang babg clatter clatter bang bang

hi need some help had my land rover since wednesday 2 fires [ but lights now work ] so if your lights do not work show your landy no mercy burn some wires i have a clattering nose noise sound from my gearbox stiil makes the noise sound when not in gear any ideas what is the couse problem how meny hammers will i need to hit it with thanks paul with a bad head and my ears might be bleeding

i can sell yer a series 3gearbox that whines badly and jumps out of second its fitted to mine lol

try turning the engine off, that should stop the noise in the gearbox. problem solved!!

then empty the oil out of the gearbox and see what else comes out like bits of gears. if its just old oil that was in it try some new ep90 gl4 and see what like.

any one in the derby area that would like to listen to the tune my landy makes and name that tune would be good [save me from takein bits off] any help please as i can not sneak up on any one in my bright red landy [i did not paint it and i am not gay] before any one asks
