Went and took me A-frame ball joint and fulcrum of the bus tonight to give it a wee paint and noticed that the ball joint takes a hell of a presure to move it. Stuck it in the vice and still struggled to get it movin' but got there in the end. Took the one of the white bus to stick on in place of it and noticed it that it was really smoooth and 'quite' easy to move. Anybody any ideas as to which one ah should use?
Only reason ah'm askin' is, Ah got 3 track rod ends the other day... the 1st one was a ****part and was really hard to move.. the 2nd one was an Allmakes and was a 'bit' easier to move but felt 'gritty'.. and the 3rd was a Delphi Lockheed and was really smooth and 'quite' easy to move. Replaced the 1st two with delphi's;)
Ah'm tempted to stick with the 'easier' ball joint on me A-frame but could do with some ideas ;)
Cheers :D
Meant to add that both bj's needed chappin' out as they were pretty tight in the fulcrum

try freeing off the stiff one first, if it doesn't free off then i wouldn't use it as it may well just seize up in use, if it doesn't free of use the more wobbly one, i need to do my a-frame ball joint and change the bushes for poly ones but it's never been of and covered in 15yrs of crap and rust  i need to find a 3/4 drive breaker bar and socket coz i tried 4 foot of scaff pole on the end of me snap-on 1/2" drive bar and nearly did! just done track rods last night, replaced with 4 delphis, 2 were quite stiff but loosened a bit and the other 2 were a bit looser

changing my rear axle at the moment cant undo the ball joint from top of axle, what size is the nut please???
It's a 30mm socket job with an extension bar Geoff;)
