Ok, so this is a very, very minor annoyance compared to most problems posted on here, but it is doing my nut in trying to locate the cause.

When my disco 3 tdv6 has a change from acceleration to deceleration or vice versa I hear a sound similar to a ball bearing hitting a spring. It's the same noise regardless of which way round the acc-dec, or Dec-acc. It sounds to come from driver footwell but when I've had my head down there trying to locate it I can't pinpoint it at all.
I don't think it's pedal related as I can't get the noise to occur when the vehicle is stationary but pressing the pedals. Ant suggestions gratefully received.
