Bad starting td5

hi everybody
Posted thread recently on my discovery td5 bad starting, changed the pump for oem Siemens pump, car still driving lumpy run tank to half a tank, starts running great finally booked it in yo lees autos in Stockport . 30 years working on land rovers he has told me to run the tank right down . He wants to flush the tank out, because I keep finding black bits in the fuel filter. It's seems to run better at certain fuel levels the warning light came on today, I only put £15 in cos I am taking in in next week. Hopefully he will sort it, then remap from dynochip . Hear good results from you guys.

If he drops the tank make sure he checks the fuel lines for leaks, mine had two leaks and a pxss poor dealer repair on one pipe.

Hi mark
He is going to clean the fuel lines and regulator.
Hopefully this will resolve it
