bad noises

hi chaps,
I noticed a slight banging noise about 3 weeks ago when reversing in full lock, it has now got a lot worse and makes very loud bangs even when turning around corner in first and second gear, it also does it occasionaly when pulling off in 2nd.
Another thing i noticed the other day was that when turning full lock (forward or back) the innner wheel is skidding as if was trying to turn at the same speed as the opposite wheel suggesting that diff lock was ingaged although it is deffinatley not in dif lock!
i took it to a land rover specialist and he found one of the prop shaft uj's was buggerd so he replaced the shaft and uj but the banging is still happening and its getting rapidly worse!!

Help me out becasue im getting v. worried!!

I'd guess yer CV joints are fooked.
About 30 quid a side to replace and 2 hours work.

i would say either cv's or front diff

other thing, how do u get to the cv joints?

remove the wheel, remove the hub, remove the stub axle, pull out the half shaft together with the CV joint.

simple as that

forgot to say, remove the brake caliper before removing the hub.

an don't let the caliper hang on the hoses use a cable tie
