right when i have my lights on the turn the indicator on the main lights and tail light dim when the indicator light come on then they brighten up when the indicator light goes off so my lights look as if they are flashing when the indicator is on

is this an bad earth some where or is it something else

cheers:eek:

Yes it's most likely the earth.
The indicators and lights all have an earth in one of the screws that holds the bulb holder to the body.
I would start by taking out all the screws in the bulb holders, cleaning the bulbs and connectors inside the holder and cleaning the earth strap that screws into the bodywork.

Removal of both bulbs at the front rear will allow you to identify if its the front or the rear earth that has gone.

The rear one is under the cover behind the lights on the inside.

The front one is behind the front head lights connecting to the wing. Be carefuly however that it the wing has lost contact with the rest of the body (RUST) then this can also cause the same thing as the wires comming off the wing!
