just bought my first tractor engined range rover all my others are v8 petrols this one is a 2.5 dt picking it up over the week end
are they as gutless as they say
whats the difference between a dse and a dt

DSE has leather,aircon, DT does not - I think

I own a DT, standard cloth seats, air-con plus other small bits, depends on the optional extras when ordered.

Mine is a DT and has cloth seats, could be that someone has fitted a leather interior, as for gutless then depends on what you compare it to, if its a v8 then yes but compared to my previous Pajero its smooth and powerfull. Mine is an Auto and as far as I can gather it suits the engine better than the manual. Hope you enjoy it.

Mines a dse and i think the differance is the leather seats and aircon, depends on what extras where orderd when new, as a rule the dt ids the basic 1 and dse has the toys so to speak, fit a psi box and it will fly like the wind lol

DSE = lots of extras
DT = basic model

both engine are the same only difference is in the interior extras.

Standard engine aint too bad, not great at over taking or pulling away in a hurry but not a bad drive. As mike says stick a power box in and it will change it to a different beast.
