Hi All,
I've noticed recently that the back of my tdi5/7 seems to be sliding to the left on sharp right hand corners, particularly in town on damp roads, and at very slow speeds
Tyres are fine, but i believe i need the Suspension Bags replaced/repaired at next service, next week or so, as the machine settles down on its heels when parked a while.
Could this be the problem?
I want to take it to France for 2/3000 miles motoring in April and would like to be more confident at cornring as it is right hand drive.

Could be the problem, im not that good on the newer ones.

I do know my 300 tdi has a bush on the back which allows for axle movement, so if it wears you get a few mm in play on rear axle, hence bit of slide of snap out on the odd bend, and sometimes on the not so very odd bend as well.
