Should a landy cv joint be like the ones on a regular car . That is - if i set them in position they stay where they are and not be all floppy ?

Also seems to have slight rotational play in the joint.

I assume its spackered .

Its all split and on the deck just now and im about to order new , just want to check before i get em and the new ones are the same.

Also if i buy a swivel seal kit
DA3167P | Swivel Kit - no ball - front axle to KA930455

What parts do i need to buy along side the cv joint . The cv joint kit has a bunch of gadkets and seals the swivel kit already has i think.

And are both inner and outer bearings the same ? Want to get the timken oe bearings instead of hte kit , looks to me like from the kit all i need are 2 bearings , a locking tab washer and one twin lip oem seal ? I can reuse all the rest right.

well to get my order in for 3pm yesterday to get it express - i ended up ordering the kits + plus timken bearings.

i now have enough front axle seals and paper gaskets to see me through the next millenia.

How ever - thats the passengers side done :d
