Awning fitting

My Disco has the standard factory fit rail, with I think is called a T track. Question is how best to fit a side awning such as the ARB, do I need roof rails and if so what fittings would I need.

Thanks for the reply, thats what I thought, but its the fitting for the bars to fit into the T track if that makes sense, would upload pictures of the rail on Disco but cant seem to be able to do so
