Evenin folks,

Im away to power wash the underside of my disco and waxoyl it all generously. Anybody done it before and remember how much they needed? And anywhere that sells it for a reasonable price? Cheers!

you'll ave er job gettin it dry underneath in this weather!
unless you've got a heated garage that is?
you'll need 3 or 4 litres.
stand the tin (lid off!) in a bucket of hot water for 15 mins before applying.
it's cheep enuf from yer local motor factors.

That is cheap!! Unluckily for me, im live beside aberdeen so it'd cost an arm and a leg in diesel. I've just fitted a new boot floor and n/s/r inner wheel arch panel so im goin to give it a good lashing of waxoyl to try n keep it all good because the rest of the chassis is pretty good. Cheers anyway!

I can get a shot of a 2 or 4 post ramp in my mate's garage armed with a space heater but it still prob take the best part of a day to dry. I've priced it from my local Motor factors (dingbro) and its costing £19 + vat. Just done a google search and it come up with lawsons.co.uk. They're saying it u buy more than 2 gallon, they'll do it for £13.28 + vat per gallon so that'll do me! Gonna do inner wings with clear and underside with black. Will have to get me self a bucket and some hot water now, cheers!

Theres a place near me that does the whole job including pressure washing for £80

Could you give me details of where this is, as I dont live a million miles away from you (Cofi Land) and hopefully will have another Disco in the next couple of weeks which will probably need doing. ;)
