Autopst Re-Build Kit For £250

Autopost sell a complete re-build kit for V8s; rings, bearings, cam, followers, gaskets etc.

At £250 it seems very good value for money. Anyone used one of these kits and if so, what was the quality like? Any problems at all?

Never used them but i imagine you could email them and get them to list the manufacturer of every part in the kit then you can decide whether its worth it

I would probably steer clear. Just my personal opinion of course.

When it comes to engine fitting you need to fit the best. If the kit is cheap you can guarantee the parts in it are as well..

For example the bearings should be something like Michigan77. Followers (lifters) absolutely must be GENUINE LR if you want them to be quiet.

I've tried them all and only genuine last, and are quiet. Rhodes and Edelbrock perform well but are very "ticky" which I dislike..
