Auto gear box fails , Freelander 2

I greet you.Has anyone encountered this situation? Freelander 2 2007, 2.2 SD, automatic.

1. When changing to R (reverse), quite often, there is a pause of 0.5-1 second in which it does not engage, then with a shock/jerk it starts going backwards. In D (drive) it does not do this.
2. When driving normally in Drive: Sometimes when changing it goes suddenly from 2-3 / 2-1, or changes late in higher revs when I accelerate it suddenly, the same with shocks - the lower the gears, the bigger the jerk .

The box is ok, oil changed in it. The gearbox is replaced with another used one (the old one no longer engages gears), it should be mentioned that these jerks / shocks were also made with the previous gearbox.

Please some opinions / ideas what to check, because I don't know where to start. No errors are displayed in the computer.Thanks

Did you change the ECM with the gearbox, or are you using the original one?
If you're using a replacement ECM, were the adaptives reset when it was installed?
Did you change the torque converter too?
Have you read the gearbox codes with a suitable reader, engine code reader won't work as the gearbox ECM needs a different code reader to a normal OBD2 reader.

I have changed the gearbox with the ECM , also it came with another torque converter.
Not sure if reading of ECM was done with a dedicated device - will search and do with a proper one. Probably that's why no error codes showed up.

I have not done the adaptive reset , I will do this and get back to you.

I have run adaptives reset, and noticed some improvement in shifting.

On reader I've got these lower readings. They may be older or inaccurate , as over 100 faults ( yikes) appeared on log and the car should not start if they were true. It may be not quite a suitable reader, or I should erase/reset them and see afterwards if they come back .
