The fan on the auto box rad- what temperature is it set to come on at??

I've never had it come on so just out of curiosity I connected it it to test it tonight - it worked, so guess fluid in box just isn't getting hot enough? or sensor faulty?

....and as I've completed Datatek's A/C fan mod and have had no problems so far, and as I'm moving the auto box rad anyway so I can fit front fog lamps, could I just connect it up to come on when the A/C cooling fans kick in??

It comes on when the TF gets too hot, until then it don't. It won't come on under normal driving conditions. Maybe it will if you are towing 3.5 tons up a long hill on a very warm day. Most of the heat generated in the auto box is due to torque convertor slip.

Mine has fog lamps and no fan, but the bumper cover has been modified. Gearbox never overheats. Your fan should come in at 95 degrees +-3.
