Hi

Can anybody please explain the wiring on the pink and the gray plugs of the radio head unit of a P38. I want to fit a Kenwood unit, so will need to replace those plugs. How does the amps get there power? I have the HK unit, so will need to do the thingy they explain on RR.net.
Any advice will be appreciated.

you can change the harmon kardon stereo for your own, all you need is 4, 2 way cross overs, a std iso speaker block with some small pin connector crimps. take all door cards off, remove the amp in door and the woofer, figure out which wires goto which speaker and the feed to each door, take the feed from the door and pin it on the pink iso plug, then back to the door, feed to the input on cross over and outputs to speakers as required. takes about an hour to do whole thing and sounds great.

Hi,

I've got a defender 110, looking to change the radio over and opened up the console to reveal a white/orange wire, red /orange, purple/brown and a black wire. Can anyone please assist as to what wire is what?

Many Thanks

Cammy
