Just got my V5C back and it says engine size 3500cc And that it’s gas/ petrol, as I’ve been filling it with diesel without any issues I’m a bit confused, I thought it was a 300tdi .Engine number is 26D00001A any advice would be appreciated

A quick call to the dvla should put that right! Someone may have converted it at some point?

Converted from V8 - which would be really nice, but a bit expensive on fuel ...... a VIN decoder will tell you how it left the factory .... post a piccie of your engine bay, and we'll soon tell you which injun you have

Pretty sure it’s a diesel as I’ve been running it on that, the bloke I bought it off said it was a 3500 litre, but I didn’t think it was, appreciate the help.

The chassis number on the v5c is —————,Engine number 26D00001A.

I would suggest having your chassis number on a forum is not the best for security. Have a look at this .

Chassis number deleted good point, thank you. I got it for what I believe was a very good price and I’m really happy with it, only problem is I’m constantly looking to add bits to it, fancy a roof rack and roof lights.
