Looking great, grey is a great colour for it. As for your fuel sender try renewing it / beefing up the earth this seems to be a common issue and is normally solved with an earth lead.

Thanks! I've managed to sort it. It was the earth all along. But the earth to the back of the gauge itself

I've got 2 new doors on order which should arrive this week, both rear arches and the rear door have been primed.







Should have them painted this week

Rear door is painted and on, it does need some adjustment though as the gaps are shocking.

Also test fit a front door and then got them painted up.

Can't upload any pictures. What's going on with photobucket?!

Use Imgur mate. I just had to swap all my photos across. Unless you want to pay $400 a year to be able to post on forums using photobucket.

I'll have a look In a minute. All of my other pictures in the thread are still working though I think? So what's the crack with them ones? Do they stay or do I have to go back through and sort all them out.

What a blag! Well I'll just start using imgur for the new ones and hope the others stay ha

I haven’t been haven’t been on here much, lost a bit of interest knowing I had to go and sort all the pictures out, however I’ve now changed them all so they should work. And a few progress pics...

Got the back door on


It’s currently glazed and has the catch and spare wheel on it. I’ll get some pictures of that on Monday.

Two new doors painted


And fit



I’ve removed and painted the front axle/diff guard, and I’ve also painted both axles black.





Front arches are on and a picture in the daylight (albeit very dusty)



The flatting and polishing has started and I’ve just got one side left to finish, the exhaust is now finished, a new steering wheel is on and the headunit and speakers are being wired in, so id say it’s very nearly finished. I’ll have more up to date pictures soon of all the little bits and pieces.

One thing is. just out of curiosity : Do your tyres ( road tread) sit within the arches?

Thanks. Yeah it has a clear lense but a red bulb. The edge of the tread sits flush with the arch. I would ideally like to get rid of these tyres and get some all terrain ones that aren’t as chunky.

Looking great Ash, nice work. I'll be happy if I get new door seals and the heaters hooked up on my two sometime in the next 6months, never mind new paint jobs and whatnot!

This week has seen the rear section of the exhaust made, painted and fit



I’ve wired the front speakers in and have had to send my headunit back to swap it for another one, seems as tho the newer kenwood units don’t work after a speaker had shorted out

Almost forgot about the two new rear work/floodlights. They’re very bright, very impressed with them, especially for only £12 off eBay!

Thanks for the kind words. I’ve taken a few things out because of the photo bucket issue, so it’s not as in depth as I intended it to be.

I can’t quite remember off the top of my head but I think the tyres are 30x12.5x15 Goodyear Wrangler MTRs. I’m open to sensible offers for all 5, they’re are in excellent condition and loads of tread left, I ideally would like to be able to purchase a set of all terrain tyres for the price I get for them.

I would consider selling alloys and tyres as a set, the alloys are compomotive DWF, and id include the nuts, same again, a price at which I can buy a set of 5 alloys and tyres to replace them. Or if there are some sensible swaps out there which will fit on mine then I’m all for that
