Ashcroft Auto Console

Hi All,

Decided to splash out and buy the Ashcroft Auto Console and thus sort out the interior.

The kit has arrived but without any instructions - bit of a pain, especially for such an expensive item.

Has anyone fitted one? I've asked ashcrofts for instructions but they will not be here until Monday, - so I lose another weekend.

The hi/low lever seems to be in a different place to the hole on the console.

I have no idea where to fit the selector bracket.

Finally, no idea where to fit the gear shift indictor.

Any help, thoughts, pictures would be really appreciated.

For reference, car is; 1988 90 Factory V8 SF Auto.

You will not believe the customer service of these people. I sent them an email so that they would pick it up on Monday and hopefully get something to me.

30 mins later, David Ashworth phones me up offering assistance!

I'm sending him some pictures and will get some feedback.

Now thats what we all like isn't it?

Quick update.

Issue seems to be with my Tranfer Case - the lever has been adapted and pushed forward so the console does not fit.

Ashcroft have a template available to identify the drilling points for the selector kit, I'll post it up here when I get it, provided not copywrite etc...

Bad news is I will not get it fixed this weekend for sure - ho hum.
