afternoon all ,
now given that my 300 tdi disco was shirt buttons cheap i did expect it to need a boot floor and after tearing up the carpet today i'm not dissapointed !
it's got holes but nowhere near as bad as i'd expected (result) BUT it has in places gone beyond what the repair panel replaces . ( between the new repair panel and wheel arch tubs . ) how have any of you guys overcome this problem ? looked at peoples builds and youtube vids but they all show just the panel being dropped in and welded !!
when i do mine i want to do it once and forget about it ... going to seam weld , seam seal and waxoyl it to death ....
and advice or tips would be gratefully accepted
