Arse!
Is it just me or are these really soft? My Bilstiens take a fair bit to compress, these Armstrongs seem way too soft.

Bilstines are specialist items at a price,Armstrong's are basic low cost standard fit for Landrover's.Hard to compare but they will be softer.

I wasnt expecting them to be close but I really wasnt expecting them to be so soft either, there is literally little to no resistance. I guess I will fit them and either love the softer ride or hate the poorer handling.

I have fitted them to all four corners, seem okay. Dampers are more to do with extension anyway to control spring rebound, they seem okay and are cheap enough I could change them yearly.

Work them separately a couple of times before you fit them .. Push them fully in, then pull them out steadily so both ways are fully extended. Makes a heck of a difference to overall feel and longevity.

They're likely to have been sat horizontally on a shelf for <cough> months ... the first couple of compresses and extensions you might hear 'gurgling' ...

I bought the basic britpart jobs, thought exactly the same until I’d ‘primed’ them up and down across the full travel a few times.

Yeah Ive primed them up a little, I still think they will make for a softer ride which isn't a bad thing, I'm just thinking roll on the corners. Ill fit them and see how it goes, I have HD springs on the rear so they might keep it a little stiff. I have noticed, only after I bought these, there is STC3772 which is a HD option, wither or not they are stiffer is anyone's guess. I will fit these on and see whats what.
